ABOUT THIS BLOG and ITS AUTHOR

WARNING: I’ve decided to work on another blog, sorry… no more posts for some time… You can anyway take a look, there are some interesting things you may find useful:   NEW BLOG

Dear learners of English,

Some people say, and I agree, that learning a language is a long-life experience.  This blog is a tool and a meeting point that I hope will help you be independent and strategic along your learning venture….

As you have probably already experienced – apart from attending a language course – we can find loads of learing materials, sources of information and different ways of improving our English outside the classroom, that is, independently: text books, reference grammar books, magazines, literature, films, music, web pages…..  However, this can sometimes be crazy! we often don’t know exactly how to handle so much information.
Well…this is one of the reasons why I have decided to use this blog as a tool and a meeting point to share useful learning tips and materials which will help you become stragic learners to continue improving your skills and knowledge.
I’d like to share with you my knowledge and experience -not only as teacher, but also as learner myself-  and I’d be very glad if you did the same. As this is a meeting point, you can participate in this project by leaving your comments and suggestions anytime. Let us know what you do and how you do it to find better ways of learning English.
Thank you very much for your interest and contribution!

I hope you’ll all find this blog of help and enjoy it, that’s our aim. And remember: have fun as you learn!

Cheers!

Sonia

P.S.  Now, read some more about LEARNING STRATEGIES here

  1. This is a wonderful blog, Sonia. Even if you’re updating it at the moment. It must be super-duper when fully operational. I’ll share the link with my students.
